Constipation is a condition that includes less movement of the bowel frequent. It feels like stools that are dry, and difficult to pass. Sometimes it feels like not all stools are passed. 

What are the Causes of Constipation?

There are many causes of Constipation. 
  • might be caused due to sedentary lifestyle
  • body not hydrated
  • lack of fiber in the body
  • maybe because of any medication
  • might be caused due to ignoring the urge to go to the washroom
  • maybe having some intestinal issues
  • may occur due to changes in lifestyle such as pregnancy etc.

What are the Symptoms of Constipation?


There are the following Symptoms that can occur during constipation. But it can depend on people. They can feel all these symptoms differently.
  • can happen a feeling of uncomfortable and unease
  • maybe having abdominal pain
  •  can be a painful bowel movement
  • hard and dry stools
  • feeling occur like not passing all stools

What are the preventions of Constipation?

There are some preventions of it. Which can be helpful in preventing it. 
  • it is important to use high fiber in the diet such as vegetables, fruits, grains, etc.
  • should not ignore the urge to pass the stool
  • trying to avoid stress
  • include some physical activities if having a sedentary lifestyle
  • create a regular schedule for bowel movement
  • trying to drink more water

What are the Treatments of Constipation?

There are some treatments for constipation.

  • Use caffeinated coffee because it is 60% stronger than water. It increases the urge for a bowel movement in some people. Because it contains a small number of soluble fibers. 
  • The use of fiber increased in the diet. It will prove helpful against it.
  • Trying to be hydrated because it can work against Constipation. 
  • Try to use fiber in the diet. Non -fermentable Soluble fibers are proven good against it such as Psyllium.
  • Trying to add physical activities and exercise to daily life. Because a sedentary lifestyle can cause it worst. It proves helpful to decrease the symptoms of constipation in some people.
  • The use of probiotic food is good for it. Because it is good to treat a chronic type of constipation.
  • Prebiotic fiber is also good to treat. There are some prebiotic fibers that can be added to the diet such as onions, garlic, bananas, etc.
  • Prune is a natural remedy for treating constipation.
  • Trying to avoid dairy products. Because in some people it is caused due to use of lactose. Therefore, avoid from it, maybe decreases its symptoms of it.
  • Kiwi which is suitable for it.
