What is the job of the kidney in the body?

Kidneys have several jobs in a body. One of the most important jobs of the kidney is to remove poisonous material. It filters blood and removes the wastes from the body in the form of urine. 

They are Bean-shaped organs nearly about the size of your fist. They lie under the ribcage. Usually, peoples have two working kidneys, but life is even possible with one working kidney. When kidneys don’t work properly, waste material is stored in the body and is not eliminated.

 

What is kidney failure?

When one or both kidneys partially or completely cannot work is called kidney failure. It is also known as renal failure in medical language. 

 

 What are the causes of Kidney Failure?

The leading causes of it are diabetes and high blood pressure level. However, sometimes it happens in unexpected causes.

  • Heart attacks or heart diseases
  • Liver failure
  • Dehydrated
  • Severe burning in different parts of the body
  • Allergies
  • Infections
  • High blood pressure level
  • Kidney disease in family history

 

What are the symptoms of kidney failure?

It is not a very quick process. During this, the kidneys lose their function gradually. However, some are not even aware of it that they have kidney failure. Therefore, symptoms of kidney failure should be noted:

  • Having trouble in sleep
  • Not taking your diet
  • Feeling weak or tired
  • Itching
  • Losing weight
  • Cramps or twitches in muscle
  • Swelling in Feet or ankles
  • Low blood pressure level
  • Not getting enough sleep or getting trouble in sleep
  • Bleeding internally
  • Confusions
  • Disturbed urine tests or blood tests
  • Frequent vomiting
  • Dry skin
  • Using bathroom frequently

 

How can we diagnose kidney failure?

A variety of tests or measures are used globally for the diagnosis of kidney failure. However, some are discussed here:
