What is Dyspepsia?

Dyspepsia commonly known as indigestion. Patient gets stomach pain, over-fullness, or bloating while eating or after it. It affects 30% of the population worldwide. It is mostly common but be attentive if t starts affecting your life. However sometimes dietary changes and medication are not enough to treat such disease. It is also known as disturbed stomach.

Sometimes dyspepsia is mixed with heart-burning. It is separate from heart-burning.

What are the causes of Dyspepsia?

Following are the causes that can help you adopt this disease

  • More and more Alcohol consumption
  • Eating fatty or spicy foods
  • Stress, anxiety, or depression
  • Because of Medicines like aspirin
  • Frequent smoking for a long time
  • Using some antibiotics or pain relievers
  • Due to Diabetes
  • Because of Pregnancy
  • Due to Constipation
  • Because of stomach cancer or infections

How to prevent Dyspepsia?

Following are the preventions which can be used to get rid of it:

  • Try to eat small meals and trying not to keep your stomach busy
  • Stay away from citrus fruits or tomatoes
  • Quit smoking and alcohol consumption right now
  • Never run, exercise, or do hard work with a full stomach
  • Don’t lie down after eating

  • If experiencing a Loss of weight
  • If having Headache

What are the symptoms of Dyspepsia?

Symptoms of dyspepsia are as follows:

  • If feeling pain or burning or pain in your stomach
  • Feeling full even before eating something

What are the treatments for Dyspepsia?

  • Drinking water and avoiding soda
  • Eating slowly
  • Eating smaller meals
  • Don’t wear tight clothes
  • Wait at least 3 hours after eating and then go to sleep
  • Keep your head up while sleeping

  • Taking prokinetics
  • Using antibiotics
