What is a Heart Attack?

Heart attack is also known as myocardial function in medical language. It usually happens when a part of the heart muscle is not given the required blood. The more time that goes on without its treatment greater the damage is provided to the heart muscle. Heart attacks are the no. 1 killer of both men and women. Every year in U.S. 1+ million people get a heart attack and nearly half of them die. Also, half of the half die before reaching the hospital.

A heart attack is always an emergency. So, Treatments at home (if have a heart attack at home) should be given to the patient. 

Some of the quick treatments are discussed here:

  • Chew or swallow aspirin
  • Use Nitroglycerin

However, try the below remedies to prevent yourself from heart attacks:

  • Use Almonds
  • Drink a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar with a glass of water if you feel pain in your heart.
  • Normally try to drink fresh water (not hold neither cold)
  • Use a cold pack whenever feel pain
  • Use ginger on daily basis
  • Use Alfalfa
  • Be physically active and fit
  • Use healthy diet
  • Take medicine ( if advised by the doctor) daily

 

Also, avoid the following to prevent yourself from heart attacks:

  • Leave smoking right now
  • Exercise daily
  • Control stress
  • Avoid alcohol consumption

Feeling pain in the chest, left arm, jaw, neck, back, or tummy

Use of poor diet

Tobacco and alcohol consumption

High Cholesterol Level

Fatness

Diabetes

High blood pressure level

Partial blockage of blood supply

Lack of oxygen in blood also known as hypoxia
